The neighborhood of "Agetsuchi"
"Agetsuchi" is written as "上土" in kanji. It means piling up soil. If it is a castle town, it has the same place name anywhere. It was the place where a base of a castle began.
The Numazu castle of the Edo era was a castle on level ground. It had a castle tower, but it was only a small lofty building. After the Meiji era, the castle was destroyed, and a central city of Numazu was made.
