“VIRUS”

Japan name is “A day of revival”. It is an SF novel of Sakyo Komatsu written in 1964. This work is filled with medical knowledge of the field of bacteria and virus.

A movie made in 1980 was a passable level. I think that it was a movie made best in filmized Komatsu works.
The director is Kinji Fukasaku. The performers were Masao Kusakari, Yumi Takigawa, Olivia Hussey, Bo Svenson, George Kennedy, etc. The music dorector is Teo Macero. It was an international work which was rare as Japanese movie.
